SWiM Communications’ hosting is provided in association with Comcen Internet Services. This relationship stretches back to 1995, prior to the mass commercialisation of the web.
Comcen is one of the top 20 ISPs in Australia (ABS) which means that it is big enough to have the grunt where you need it, but not so big that you are lost in a world of phone queues and impersonal service.
Through SWiM Communications you have access to business hours support for all website and email needs. We are you first and second level help desk before escalating to Comcen’s help desk.
SWiM’s co-located server is configured for optimal search engine access and visibility. This includes a direct link into the Australian internet grid AND a direct link into the backbone of the internet in the USA.
Our web servers are located at the Equinix data centre in Mascot, NSW in earthquake proof and terrorist proof conditions. These facilities are accessible only via full biometric enabled security.
