Browsers and Compatability
SWiM Communications builds web sites to be compatible with popular web browsers on both PC and Apple operating systems.
Currently supported web browsers include:

Internet Explorer Note
Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 was released in August 2001, prior to the popularisation of modern web codes such as CSS and PHP. Resultantly, it does not read or display contemporary web code as well as other browsers. Internet Explorer 7, released October 2006, improved compatibility with web site codes considerably, but is still, in SWiM's opinion, inferior to other PC web browsers.
Hence SWiM recommends using Firefox or Safari for web browsing on PC. SWiM recommends very strongly that IE 6 users upgrade to IE 7 as a minimum requirement.

Internet Explorer 8 is newly available. In keeping with current browser needs SWiM has upgraded it’s browser compatibility to cater to IE 8 & 7 (from IE 7 & 6).
Internet Explorer 6 compatible builds are available upon request. These builds may incur an additional fee.
Internet Explorer 6 debugging will still be available as an additional service.
